Determined to try new July 4th weekend events we attended the Hoe Down in Cow Town today in Cloverdale. This parade wound through town with a mix of local fare including a colony of bunnies and the infamous Smokey the Bear. The parade is thought to be unique in the country as it is lead by a cow; this year a Holstein named Clover accompanied by Tillamook County Dairy Princess Ambassador, Kristen Kaste.
